1.1 These Conditions of Repair (“Agreement”) apply to the repair services (“Service”) provided by Circuit Crafters for your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or other electronic devices (“Device”).
1.2 References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Circuit Crafters. References to “you” and “your” mean the customer named on the service booking.
2.1 This Agreement starts when you confirm a repair appointment with Circuit Crafters and continues until your Device is repaired and returned, and payment has been made in full.
2.2 We will use reasonable care and skill to repair your Device, subject to parts availability.
2.3 We use high-quality parts for repairs and, where available, OEM (genuine) parts. We will inform you of the options before starting the Service.
2.4 A passcode, pattern, or Face/Touch ID may be required for testing your Device before and after repair. If you choose not to provide access, we cannot perform a full functional test and cannot be held responsible for undetected issues.
2.5 Any time estimate provided is an estimate only. Most repairs are completed the same day, but certain repairs (e.g., logic board/Level 3 repairs) may take longer.
2.6 If additional costs arise during repair (e.g., further damage discovered), we will contact you for approval before continuing. If you decline, we may return your Device unrepaired and may charge a diagnostic fee.
2.7 Some repairs require disassembly, which may expose or worsen hidden damage. Circuit Crafters accepts no liability for additional faults that become apparent due to pre-existing conditions.
2.8 Diagnostics are a chargeable, non-refundable service.
2.9 Devices not collected within 56 days may be recycled responsibly after reminders are sent.
2.10 By using our service, you agree that any parts replaced will be recycled or disposed of by Circuit Crafters in an environmentally safe manner.
2.11 Our services may void your manufacturer’s warranty. If you want to maintain your original warranty, we recommend going directly to the manufacturer.
2.12 Waterproofing or water resistance cannot be guaranteed after a repair.
3.1 Repairs carried out by Circuit Crafters come with a standard warranty:
Screens & major parts: up to 12 months warranty (against manufacturing defects only).
Batteries: 6 months warranty.
Repairs involving liquid damage or logic board repairs: 1 month limited warranty.
3.2 Warranty covers the specific fault repaired and/or part replaced only. It does not cover:
Accidental damage (drops, cracks, impact, liquid damage).
New issues unrelated to the original repair.
Tampering with the Device or third-party repairs after our service.
3.3 Warranty is linked to the Device’s IMEI/serial number and original customer. It is non-transferable.
4.1 Circuit Crafters’ liability is limited to:
(a) re-supplying the Service,
(b) refunding the cost of the Service, or
(c) replacing the Device with a refurbished model of equal value (in rare cases where damage occurs due to our repair).
4.2 We are not liable for:
Any indirect or consequential loss (business loss, data loss, travel costs, etc.).
Data stored on your Device. Please back up your Device before repair.
Progression of pre-existing damage or liquid damage.
4.3 In the unlikely event your Device is lost or stolen while in our care, we will provide a replacement of similar model and condition.
5.1 We require your name, contact number, and address to process your booking and return your Device.
5.2 We may contact you with updates, offers, or promotions if you consent. Your data will be processed according to our Privacy Policy.
6.1 Circuit Crafters is not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control (e.g., courier delays, parts supply issues).
6.2 This Agreement is the entire agreement between you and Circuit Crafters.
6.3 This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
By booking or authorising a repair with Circuit Crafters, you confirm that:
You have read and understood this Agreement.
You acknowledge the condition of your Device at the time of handover.
You will inspect your Device upon return and raise any concerns immediately.
